After a career in television, indie films and stage, I attended the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where I earned a Master of Science degree in Television, Radio and Film. I decided to remain at the Newhouse School and earned my Ph.D. in Mass Communications there. While at Syracuse University, I was adjunct professor of Music Recording. I have taught television, audio and mass communications at Susquehanna University, Pennsylvania State University at Altoona and Jacksonville State University, where I was President of the Faculty Senate.
