Internship Opportunities
All majors within the Department of Communication at Jacksonville State University are required to complete an internship within one of the three concentrations: digital journalism, broadcasting, and public relations. Below, you will find a list of organizations with current internship opportunities and/or possible internship opportunities. Please know that status of these internships will change and students should be prepared to take action. This is not an inclusive list and there are internship opportunities within other organizations. If you have a particular organization in mind for an internship and want to know if said internship would count for college credit, please contact Dr. Jason Peterson at (256) 782-5389. Also consider the JSU community as a number of entities on campus are looking for communication-based interns during the course of the academic year.
