The Department of Human Resources is pleased to provide you with important information related to the Annual Benefits Open Enrollment period for 2017.
CHANGES TO OPTIONAL VISION PLAN
As we approached our benefits renewal for 2017-2018, our goal remained firm of taking care of our most important asset, our employees. Keeping that goal in mind, the President’s Cabinet has reviewed and approved a transition from Humana Vision Plan to Superior Vision Plan, effective October 1, 2017 as part of optional benefits offered to employees and their dependents.
The transition to Superior Vision Plan (Superior Vision Member Info.) allows for a broader Provider network of independent MDs and ODs, as well as National and Regional optical retail chains
Employees currently on the Humana Vision Plan will be contacted via email with instructions on how to transition to the Superior Vision Plan.
If you are not currently on the Humana Vision Plan, but would like to enroll in the Superior Vison Plan, you must do so during this Annual Benefits Open Enrollment period (see deadline dates above).
