International Graduate Admissions: (Click here for Checklist)

International Students who have completed their Bachelors (Undergraduate) degree program and has been conferred a Bachelor Degree may apply for a graduate program. International Students with a Bachelor and Master’s degree may also apply to our graduate program as long as they meet admissions requirement for the program.


Student are recommended to check Graduate catalog for the most updated program specific admissions requirements.


  • Complete Application form (Click)
  • Pay application fee of $35.00 online.
  • Submit official copy of college transcript in issuing institution’s sealed envelope. JSU requires a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 (US grading scale). Minimum GPA varies depending on the program.
  • Submit Detailed Course Description and/or Syllabus for each courses/subjects completed in bachelor degree program when needed by the concerned graduate department.
  • Submit a copy of passport
  • Submit a copy of financial document (financial statement and letter) stating a balance of at least $30,500
  • Submit GRE/GMAT/MAT as required by the program. (Click) 
  • If you are a transfer from another U.S. institution, contact your International Student Advisor and submit a Transfer Clearance form.

  • Submit a proof of English Proficiency score. See below table for acceptable scores, effective from Fall 2016 (students who have already been accepted to graduate program for Fall 2016 will not be affected by the new score requirements)
