Phi Kappa Phi Offers Study Abroad Grants to Undergraduates

Are you interested in studying abroad?

The Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society offers 50 Study Abroad grants of $1,000 each that are designed to help support undergraduates as they seek knowledge and experience in their academic fields by studying abroad.

The grants are open to any undergraduate student— you do not have to be a member of Phi Kappa Phi— who meets the following requirements:

• Attend an institution with an active Phi Kappa Phi chapter (including Jacksonville State University);
• Have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.75 on a 4.0 scale;
• The study abroad program must begin between Session A- May 1, 2015 - November 30, 2015 or Session B- December 1, 2015 - May 31, 2016;
• Must have applied and/or been accepted into a study abroad program. (You must provide the letter of acceptance on official letterhead as part of your application. If an official letter of acceptance is not available at the time of submission, then you may obtain a letter from your school on official letterhead verifying the submission of an application and your intent to travel abroad.); and
• Previous winners are not eligible to apply.

The deadlines for online application submissions are:

• Session A- February 15, 2015 at 11:59 CT; and
• Session B- September 15, 201 at 11:59 CT.

Late materials will not be considered.
