Student Government Spring General Election Applications Available

Want to make your voice heard on campus? Run for Student Government! Applications are being accepted Feb. 6-16 for SGA Executive Office and Student Senate, as well as Mr. & Miss. Friendly and Mr. & Miss. Jax State. 
Those planning to run for Executive Office and Senate are encouraged to attend an interest meeting this Thursday, Feb. 9, 4:30 p.m., in the Theron Montgomery Building auditorium. Applications are due in the Dean of Students Office on Feb. 16 by 4:30 p.m. 
Campaign and election schedule: 
  • February 17 - Mandatory candidate meeting at 4:30 PM in the TMB Auditorium
  • March 6 - Candidate Speeches and Debate at 7 PM in the TMB Auditorium
  • March 9 - Spring General Election, 12 AM-4 PM
  • March 14 - Run-Off Election (if applicable), 12 AM-4:30 PM
