Houston Cole Children's Corner Grand Opening

JSU’s Houston Cole Library invites the community to the grand opening of its new Children's Corner on Oct. 25, 3 p.m., on the 5th floor of the library.

The Children’s Reading Room is a dynamic, colorful facility designed to foster a love of literature and reading and promote literacy among children of Northeast Alabama.

In addition to weekly read-aloud nights, the facility will host book readings and signings by children’s authors and illustrators, present community speakers who have special areas of expertise to share with children on a variety of topics, and serve as a space for readers’ theater, arts and crafts, and many other types of creative children’s programming.
