Call for Entries for Black History Month Art Show

The JSU Department of Art and Design invites artists of all ages to enter its Black History Month Juried Exhibition, which will be featured in Hammond Hall’s art galleries Jan. 21-Feb. 18, 2021. 

The exhibit will showcase artwork surrounding African American heritage, life and experiences. All mediums and subject matter are welcome, including but not limited to documentary style artworks, poetry, visual performance and mixed media. The collection selected for display will be curated by guest juror Rashaun Rucker, an Emmy Award winning Detroit photojournalist.
