Accreditation is an indication of public approbation, attesting to the quality of the education program and continued commitment of the sponsoring institution to support the program. The nursing program has maintained continuous accreditation and Alabama Board of Nursing (ABN) approval since its inception.

CCNE Third-Party Comments

The Jacksonville State University Department of Nursing will host the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) from November 14th, 2018 through November 16th, 2018 when CCNE conducts their accreditation site visit of our Doctor of Nursing Practice program.
CCNE provides the opportunity for our communities of interest, i.e., students, alumni, faculty, employers, clinical agencies, and the community at-large to provide written input regarding our nursing program. Your feedback is valuable and appreciated.
