The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) manages matters related to externally funded sponsored grants and contracts awarded to Jacksonville State University (JSU). The OSP assists faculty and staff in the location of potential funding opportunities, budget development, internal approval process, and with the application and submission process ensuring that JSU's standards for performance are achieved by providing expertise to guide faculty and staff through the life cycle of a project. The Office of Sponsored Programs is committed to the support, development, submission, and management of these activities by the university's faculty and staff.

If you intend to apply for external funding from the federal government, state government, a county government, a local government, a foundation, a private business, a non-profit organization, or a corporation, please complete the Intent to Apply for a Grant Form to notify Sponsored Programs and administration. The Intent to Apply for a Grant Form is used early in the grant proposal developing process to capture important information. Such important data includes any commitments the University must contribute to a grant project if funded such as a cash or an in-kind match or any other University commitments.
