Dual Enrollment Orientation
Dual Enrollment Orientation is highly encouraged for all new dual enrollment students prior to their first semester in our program whether you are taking dual enrollment courses online, on-campus at Jax State, or at your high school.
On Dual Enrollment Orientation Day, students will have the opportunity to:
- Get tips on how to be successful in your Dual Enrollment college courses
- Hear about the new Gamecock Parent & Family Connection portal
- Register for classes in your MyJaxState account if you have not already
- Gain knowledge of Jax State policies that apply to DE students
- Review the benefits of being a DE student at Jax State
- Learn how to get your official Jax State student ID
After orientation, you'll be comfortable navigating Jax State's online learning portal, know about our payment and scholarship options, and be ready for all the unique courses we have to offer.
Orientation Dates and Registration
- August 17 at 6:00 PM (Virtual)
Even if you cannot attend the virtual session at the scheduled time, please register. We will send a recording to everyone who signs up after the event!
