Mask Requirement Extended- January 27, 2022
Dear Gamecocks,
Our team is here to help you, so we wanted to provide a summary of Cocky Cares resources available.
If you test positive, the Self-Reporting Form allows us to connect you with a contact tracer, who will help you identify those actually exposed, check on you and connect you with campus resources, as needed.
If you’re exposed or have general questions about the pandemic and campus protocols, covidquestions@jsu.edu is there to help connect you with the information you seek.
If you need food while in isolation or quarantine, please email covidquestions@jsu.edu, so we can connect you with resources like Sodexo or the Gamecock Market.
If you are vaccinated but you need your booster (5 months after Pfizer/Moderna series or 2 months after J&J series) or you’d like to begin your vaccination series, our RMC/JSU Health Center has appointments available each Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, which can be made by calling 256-782-5310.
If you develop symptoms, our RMC/JSU Health Center is available for walk-in testing, Monday-Friday, 8-11 a.m. Counseling Services is also available to assist with mental health needs.
As our region remains in an area of high COVID transmission and local hospitalizations continue to be elevated, the current mask requirement has been extended to February 11. The situation will continue to be monitored and adjustments will be made accordingly.
Your success is our focus, and we are here to support you.
Stay well Gamecocks,
Michael S. Barton
