Swisher3x Brings “The Vibes” to Jax State

Swisher 3xJacksonville State University kicked off the fall semester with an extra dose of energy and positivity, thanks to a special visit from musical artist Swisher3x. Known for his contagious spirit and signature “Vibe Movement,” Swisher3x spent several days on campus during J-Week, meeting students, attending events, and even dropping in on classes. 

With more than a million followers across multiple platforms, Swisher3x—born Paa-Gyesi Ansah—has built a global reputation for blending music, movement, and faith into a message that resonates far beyond entertainment. Since sparking the Vibe Movement in New York in 2020, he has traveled the world sharing his mission of spreading joy and positivity wherever he goes. 

During his time at Jax State, Swisher3x took part in a wide range of activities designed to welcome students back to campus. He appeared at New Student Convocation, the Welcome Back Cookout, and College Connections, while also spending time with the Marching Southerners, the Gamecock football team, and students in the classroom. His visit was capped off by his trademark high-energy performances, encouraging students to join in and feel “the vibes.”

Swisher3x’s visit quickly became a highlight of J-Week, giving students a chance to start the semester with excitement and a sense of community. His interactions across campus left a memorable impression on both new and returning Gamecocks.
