Mock Crime Scene House

Mock Crime Scene House

Step into our 7-room Mock Crime Scene House, a full-scale facility designed for immersive training. Students master crucial crime scene skills ranging from entry procedures and photography to evidence collection, fingerprint development, and bloodstain analysis in a realistic, hands-on environment.

Mock Court Room

Mock Court Room

Opened in Fall 2024, our Mock Court Room features a witness holding area and jury deliberation room. Criminal Law and Courts students conduct mock trials, taking on roles as judge, jury, prosecution, defense, suspects, and witnesses. The court room also hosts training for local, state, and federal agencies, refining students' courtroom presentation skills.

Our Blood Splatter Lab, launched in Fall 2025, focuses on the analysis of bloodstain patterns. Students learn to understand the physical characteristics of blood, correctly document and collect bloodstains, and utilize this evidence for case reconstruction.

The Digital Forensics Lab supports our Digital Forensics minor, equipping Forensic Investigation students with essential skills in identifying, collecting, and analyzing digital evidence. Students engage in hands-on projects and can collaborate with law enforcement and industry partners using cutting-edge hardware and software.

Arrest Simulation Lab

Arrest Simulation Lab

Experience the criminal justice process firsthand in our Arrest Simulation Lab. Students participate in mock arrests, followed by the booking process—including photography, fingerprinting, holding cell experience, and faculty interviews—providing a memorable and impactful introduction to law enforcement.

Trace Evidence Lab

Trace Evidence Lab

In the Trace Evidence Lab, Forensic Investigation students apply classroom principles to hands-on analysis of hairs, fibers, toolmarks, fingerprints, and impression evidence. Equipped with fumigation chambers and advanced microscopes, this lab provides crucial training for identifying suspects and linking them to crimes.
