Dr. Barrow has been an instructor at JSU since 2011 and an assistant professor of nursing since 2017. Her clinical background is in critical care, focusing on two areas of expertise including neurology and neurosurgery patients as well as cardiac patients, including care of both non-surgical pre and post-operative patients in both populations. Since joining academe, her research focus has been primarily in nursing education, specifically building student faculty relationships in order to promote student learning and success.
