Come ignite your core while learning this amazing dance style for fitness!

Get ready to feel the burn during this total body sculpt class! Using weight bars, exercise bands, dumbbells, and other accessories to tone and shape the body from top to bottom. Prepare to sweat while toning arms, legs, glutes, and core muscles with an incorporation of short cardio blasts throughout!

Programmed by expert exercise physiologist with endless exercises and workouts, F45 is a global fitness brand designed to keep you motivated, engaged, and always reaching for that next level. F45 combines elements of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Circuit Training, and Functional Training into a single 45 minute workout The individual workouts change daily, so you will never do the same workout twice!

A new fitness offering from UREC! In this class we'll be sweating it out and getting an intense workout while jamming to energetic, up-tempo music. Beginner and dance enthusiast friendly.

This fun, high energy, High Intensity Interval workout follows a circuit style, similar to F45. The goal of this class is to equip members with the endurance and knowledge to move into F45 in the future if they choose to do so. There will be a hip-hop themed playlist, combining songs from the 80s, 90s, early 00s, and current day. Come sweat it out to some heavy hitting hip-hop!

(High-Intensity Interval Training) is a form of exercise that involves alternating between short bursts of intense exercise followed by periods of rest or Active rest exercise. The high-intensity exercise should be done at near maximum intensity, while the recovery period should be about 50% intensity. HIIT allows you to burn more calories in a shorter period of time than other exercise protocols.

A beginner friendly workout class that targets the full body for 45 minutes while jamming out to familiar tunes. Come get fit while having a great time!

Heat up your practice with this core conditioning power yoga flow. This class is a dynamic yoga flow with lively music and fast paced sequencing. 

Start your day with a full body stretch and strength-based yoga vinyasa flow. This class links breath with movement to find balance within the mind+body. All levels welcome!

TRX is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously.

This beginner friendly class offers a full body weightlifting workout for any brand-new lifters. This will be a full body lift, typically following the same format structure every week. Movements will start very basic, and as the semester progresses, more challenging variations may be implemented. However, members will always have options for modification or progression of different movements to ensure everyone is adequately challenged, but still being safe! By the end of the semester, the instructor aims to take the class out into the weight room to apply their knowledge of different lifts, as well as to educate members on cable/stack mechanisms, and proper full size barbell usage (this will heavily depend on class size, and space availability).
